CLASS NOTES:
VD135 Lighting, Scene and Set Design

OVERVIEW:

This class is designed to give the student a fundamental grasp on light and shadow, how to identify it, how to produce it, which to use in a given situation. While the class text lent itself extremely well to this endeavor, the other aspects of the course, namely the scene and set design elements were lacking and barely addressed. Overall the course was worth taking, but does not deliver as much actual knowledge as would be indicated by the title or syllabus.
