CLASS NOTES:
DB100 Introduction To Data Base

OVERVIEW:

Alas, for this class there are no pertinant notes as there was no actual instruction. There were tangent topics and lists of terms lectured on, but nothing tying any information together. If someone gets an instructor for this course that actually has some lesson plans, some course notes, or actually lectures and has you build upon your knowledge please post them here.

The textbook leaves more than a little something to be desired and at $140 should have been 100 times more cohesive. Buying AppDev is buying labels with no correlation to instructional value. Hopefully this course and its requirements will get an overhaul soon... it is needed. The syllabus reads like a core curriculum in and of itself with very little of it covered within the class.

While I found other classes to be useful and even inspiring, this class was dismal and is merely a check box on the way to finishing a program. With that said remember this... it is the class I am talking about, not the subject matter which I believe is quite important. I will just have to learn it on my own from relevant sources and not in conjuction with this method of instruction, or lack thereof.
