COURSE DESCRIPTION: Drawing and Design Fundamentals is a basic drawing and design course. The course is designed to expose students to a variety of drawing and design techniques, materials and visual concepts, as well as to get students involved with the physical act of drawing and designing. Students will explore elements and principles involved in planning and organizing a unified design, with an emphasis on creativity, visual perception and eliciting viewer response. OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this course the student will be able to: |

Use line in an expressive and descriptive manner. | ||

Use the principles of perspective drawing to create the illusion of space and depth. | ||

Create rhythm and motion in their designs and drawings. | ||
